Key Responsibilities
Office Management & Member Support
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chamber office
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Chamber members, prospective members, and the public
- Maintain accurate membership records and communications
- Assist the Board of Directors with meeting coordination and documentation
- Tracking/monitoring budget for chamber events.
- Plan and execute 20+ Chamber-sponsored events annually, including business networking events, community celebrations, and educational programs
- Coordinate logistics, promotions, volunteers, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to ensure successful and engaging events
- Create and schedule content for the Chamber’s social media platforms
- Update and maintain the Chamber website with relevant news and information
- Design and distribute member communications using an online email marketing platform (e.g., Mailchimp or similar)
- Promote Chamber activities and initiatives to increase community engagement and visibility
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram)
- Familiarity with basic website editing tools (e.g., Weebly, Wix, or similar)
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
- Event planning or nonprofit experience a plus
- Passion for community development and supporting local businesses
