What type of products or services do you offer?
I offer USDA organically certified wellness products including CBD jellies and tinctures, collagen, topical pain relief cream, sleep support, and more. These holistic tools are designed to help with everyday wellness—things like better sleep, muscle recovery, mood balance, and nervous system support.
What inspired you to start your business?
I started as a customer—these products helped me so much that I felt compelled to share them with others. Whether it’s anxious feelings, trouble sleeping, pain, trouble focusing, or sore muscles after a workout, I wanted to be a resource for people navigating similar struggles and looking for natural options.
When did you open your doors (or purchase the business), and what was that first year like?
I launched my business 2.5 years ago, starting completely from scratch. I had just transitioned from another company where I spent nearly eight years building a loyal client base. Starting over was humbling and hard—but I reminded myself that if I built one successful business before, I could do it again. The biggest hurdle was (and still is) educating people about CBD—what it is, how it works, and that it's legal, safe, and incredibly effective.
What’s something you’ve learned about owning a business that you didn’t expect?
Honestly, I came in with pretty realistic expectations—but what continues to surprise me is how much personal growth is involved. Owning a business stretches you in ways you don’t always see coming, and I’ve learned to embrace that as part of the journey.
How has the community supported you throughout your journey?
The support from this community has been amazing. So many local businesses have opened their doors for pop-ups, mocktail bars, and collaborations—especially meaningful for me since I don’t have a storefront. Those opportunities to connect face-to-face have made a huge difference, and I’ll always be grateful for the people who said “yes” and gave me space to share what I love.
What does being a small business in the Cold Spring area mean to you?
To me, it means collaboration over competition—always. It’s about showing up for one another, cheering each other on, and creating a community that thrives together. I love our local businesses and everything that makes this area such a special place to live and visit.
How have you been able to support the local communities?
Giving back is really important to me. I love partnering with local businesses and supporting our incredible Chamber of Commerce. I volunteer on a number of committees and boards, help organize the Rock the River concert series, serve on the ROCORI Flames Softball board, and organize fundraising efforts at our kids’ school here in Cold Spring.
