At Regional Health Center, we offer chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, nutritional support, and wellness coaching. We specialize in customized care plans that address not only physical symptoms but the root causes of health challenges—focusing on helping our patients live happier, healthier, wealthier, wiser, and kinder lives. We also offer supplements, posture correction tools, meal planning support, and therapies like laser and infrared.
What inspired you to start your business?
I was inspired to create a space where patients could experience real healing—not just temporary relief. After seeing how conventional systems often overlook the whole person, I envisioned a clinic that empowers patients through education, personalized care, and a deep respect for the body’s ability to heal. Our goal has always been to offer hands-on healthcare that doesn’t make you sick.
When did you open your doors (or purchase the business), and what was that first year like?
We opened our doors in 1994, and like most small businesses, that first year was full of long hours, faith, and a lot of learning on the fly. It was humbling—but also incredibly rewarding to see patients walk out with less pain, more hope, and the desire to take ownership of their health journeys.
What’s something you’ve learned about owning a business that you didn’t expect?
I didn’t expect how much personal growth would be required to lead a business well. Being a great chiropractor isn’t enough—you also need to become a great communicator, coach, strategist, and leader. The business becomes a mirror for your strengths and your blind spots, and I’ve learned to embrace both as part of the process.
How has the community supported you throughout your journey?
The support from the ROCORI and surrounding communities has been incredible. Our patients don’t just show up for care—they refer friends, share their stories, and even drop off coffee or notes of encouragement when they know we’re working hard. That kind of support is what keeps our team motivated and our mission growing.
What does being a small business in the Cold Spring area mean to you?
It means connection. It means showing up for people—not just as a doctor or provider, but as a neighbor. We get to care for generations of families and be part of their milestones. It’s about building trust, giving back, and helping this area thrive from the inside out.
How have you been able to support the local communities?
We’ve hosted educational workshops, donated to local schools and organizations, and provided teacher and veteran wellness specials. We also partner with local businesses, attend community expos, and create seasonal campaigns that highlight health as a shared value in our community. We’re committed to making Cold Spring and the surrounding areas healthier and more vibrant.
