Assumption Community's After Hours Great Success

On Jan. 5, 2012, Assumption Campus staff treated Chamber members to a great array of refresments and appetizers during their After Hours and also offered tours of their newly-remodeled facilities with a show case of the new areas and the additional services offered inside Assumption Community. It truly is a Community!!

Members, Volunteers and Contributions help make Chamber Holiday Party very successful

The evening of Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at the Great Blue Heron was filled with the celebration of the holidays and volunteer spirit as the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Holiday Party and Hometown Pride Volunteer Award Ceremony. With the good music provided by The Rocori Jazz Singers, the decorations, the fabulous meal, all the donations of centerpieces and Silent Auction items by members, and the descriptions of each candidate’s volunteer activities, you can’t help but feel the Christmas spirit.
The 2011 Hometown Pride Recipients were: Linus and Janette Dingmann, Gene Hesse and Chris Chapman, Greg Spanier and the Cold Spring Jaycees. Each recipient is given offered $250 to be donated to the Non-profit of choice by the Chamber on behalf of the recipients.
Linus and Janette Dinmann chose the St. Boniface Catholic Church's Stain Glass Window fund; Gene Hesse chose to have his divided evenly among the Cold Sprng American Legion Post 455 and the Cold Spring Boy Scouts Troop 15. Chris Chapman and Greg Spanier will donate theirs to the Cold Spring Jaycees where the Board of Directors will choose who or what event they will disperse these funds to.
